Import is a discipline, not a middle step
Most rice sold as βimportedβ in the United States passes through several hands: an overseas trader, a domestic broker, a repacker, then a distributor. Each hand adds margin and subtracts information. By the time it reaches a buyer, nobody can say which mill it came from.
Cantrell Naturals was built the other way round. Our foundation is international trade and logistics, so we hold the mill relationship, book the freight, clear the entry and hold the stock. That means we can answer origin questions directly, and it means quality problems get fixed at the source instead of argued down a chain.
What compliance looks like on paper
Import buyers and food-safety auditors ask for the same set. We keep it ready.

Frequently Asked Question
Where does your rice come from?
Our long grain white rice is imported from Vietnam through direct relationships with mills we have vetted, not through spot-market brokers.
Are you the importer of record?
Yes. We handle sourcing, freight, entry and clearance ourselves, which is why we can answer origin and lot questions directly.
Can you provide a certificate of origin and COA?
Yes, on request per shipment β along with the phytosanitary certificate and lot traceability back to the mill run.
Do you supply other importers and distributors?
We do. Distributors use our California inventory as a domestic backstop when their own containers run late.
Ask us anything about origin, entry or documentation.
Import questions get a direct answer from the people who cleared the shipment. Send your spec or your audit checklist and we will match it.
